Belvoir Park Hospital Pavilions

The historic Edwardian Pavilions at Belvoir Park have been meticulously restored and converted into town houses and apartments. The project required structural surveys to ascertain the form of construction and load testing to assess the structural integrity of the building fabric after the site had been derelict for several years. Amending the structure to create individual dwellings with usable rooms involved removal and reorganization of the internal load bearing walls. As the buildings are listed it was important to be considerate to the original structure ensuring the buildings would be around for many years in the future serving further generations.
